In october 2016 I participated in a Game Jam with my 3 roommates. Like all Game Jams, we had 48hours to create a game.

On this project, I contributed to the following parts:

  • Hazard behavior
  • Player controllers
  • Art design

 

 

Purgatory is a 2 player versus game, where players fight indirectly over lost souls playing as an angel and a succubus. They’re the one bringing redemption to thoose wanderers.

To gain control over thoose souls, players can

  • Shoot energy balls that convert a soul
  • Place 3 kinds of traps
    • Turrets
    • Wall of flames
    • Land mines

 

Once a soul is converted, it will heading toward the player base and uppon destination, will grant him a point.

When the timer reach zero, the player with the most converted souls win the round.
